AAC’s Rising Star Megan Demshki Promoted to Partner

SANTA ANA, Calif. (January 30, 2023)— Prominent plaintiff’s firm Aitken * Aitken * Cohn is thrilled to announce attorney Megan Demshki’s promotion to partner. As the head of the firm’s Riverside office, Ms. Demshki has demonstrated a strong work ethic and dedication to her clients and cases.

Ms. Demshki has a reputation for being detail-oriented and able to communicate complex legal concepts to clients and colleagues effectively. In addition to Megan’s technical skills, she also possesses strong leadership qualities and the ability to motivate and mentor other members of the firm’s litigation team.

“I am so pleased to see Megan reach this important milestone in her already stellar legal career. Her talent, passion, and dedication to the firm have been vital to our success, and we are excited to see what she will accomplish as a partner, “said founding partner Wylie Aitken.

As co-lead counsel, with partner Chris Aitken, Megan obtained an $11 million settlement with the California Republican Party on behalf of a Riverside Man paralyzed after a freeway collision. That result earned her the 2022 CAOIE Streetfighter of the Year Award and a CAOC 2021 Finalist for Consumer Attorney of the Year.

The Riverside native helped secure a $38.5 million settlement with partner Chris Aitken for construction workers injured when part of a bridge under construction in Corona collapsed on the 91 freeway. Along with partner Richard Cohn, Megan achieved a $12 million settlement with Riverside County to compensate a wife and mother with breast cancer who suffered severe brain damage after doctors negligently put an intubation tube into her esophagus instead of her trachea.

“I am truly thankful for the opportunity to become a partner at the firm. I appreciate the support and guidance provided to me during my time at AAC. I am excited to continue working on important and impactful legal cases that help injured consumers recover their losses and obtain justice,” said Megan Demshki.

Megan currently serves as Treasurer of the Riverside County Bar Association and Past President of the Pick Group of Young Professionals. She is also a past Chair of the Janet Goeske Foundation and past President of the Consumer Attorneys of the Inland Empire, among other community and philanthropic involvement.

Aitken * Aitken * Cohn is dedicated to serving injured and aggrieved consumers in various legal conflicts. The firm enjoys a national reputation for the quality of its trial skills and the aggressive representation it provides on behalf of its personal injury clients. The firm has offices in Santa Ana, Riverside, and San Clemente.
