The incident occurred when defendant anesthesiologist negligently <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">intubated Maria Sauceda for routine surgery to remove a breast lump. The intubation was placed <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">negligently in the esophagus and defendant anesthesiologist failed to recognize and remedy the <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">situation.
