As Plaintiff approached the intersection of Alton Parkway and Armstrong Avenue, Defendant, Charles H., attempted to make a left hand turn from westbound Alton Parkway onto Armstrong Avenue without first checking for oncoming, eastbound traffic on Alton Parkway.  Jessica swerved and applied her brakes in an attempt to avoid the collision, but was unable to do so.  The impact caused Jessica\u2019s vehicle to run up the curb and slam into a nearby tree, and the airbags to deploy.  Jessica was not wearing her seatbelt at the time of the collision.<\/p>\n<p><strong>RESULTS:<\/strong> $250,000.00 (Policy Limits)<\/p>\n<p><strong>DATE OF SETTLEMENT:<\/strong> August 26, 2012<\/p>\n<p><strong>INJURIES:<\/strong> Jessica suffered a broken nose, a broken right eye socket, and abrasions on the right side of her face, her right elbow and her right knee.<\/p>\n<p><strong>TYPE OF CASE:<\/strong> Auto v.
