{"id":2391,"date":"2012-02-16T13:30:47","date_gmt":"2012-02-16T21:30:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.aitkenlawblog.com\/?p=357"},"modified":"2012-02-16T13:30:47","modified_gmt":"2012-02-16T21:30:47","slug":"orange-county-bar-association-installation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.aitkenlaw.com\/newsite\/2012\/02\/16\/orange-county-bar-association-installation\/","title":{"rendered":"Orange County Bar Association Installation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Thursday, January 19, 2012, our own <a title=\"Ashleigh Aitken\" href=\"\/staff\/ashleigh-aitken\/\">Ashleigh Aitken<\/a> was installed as Secretary of the 7,000+ member <a title=\"OCBAR\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ocbar.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Orange County Bar Association<\/a> and as a member of the OCBA Charitable Fund. She will assume the Presidency in 2015.\u00a0 The OCBA, which is one of the largest voluntary bar associations, held its annual Judges Night and Installation Dinner at the Irvine Marriot, with over 700 people in attendance.\u00a0 In addition to installing the new officers, attorney John Hurlburt was awarded the distinguished Franklin G. West Award, an award previously given to our own <a title=\"Wylie AItken\" href=\"\/staff\/wylie-aitken\/\">Wylie A. Aitken<\/a> in 2008.\u00a0 Also installed that night were <a title=\"Darren Aitken\" href=\"\/staff\/darren-aitken\/\">Darren Aitken<\/a>, OCBA Board Member, and <a title=\"Chris Aitken\" href=\"\/staff\/chris-aitken\/\">Christopher Aitken<\/a>, OCBA Charitable Fund Board Member.\u00a0 Congratulations to these <a title=\"Aitken * Aitken * Cohn\" href=\"\/\">Aitken * Aitken * Cohn <\/a>attorneys for their public service.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-358\" title=\"Michael Penn\" src=\"https:\/\/www.aitkenlaw.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/02\/michael-bio-pic1.jpg\" alt=\"Orange County Bar Association Installation\" width=\"141\" height=\"192\" \/><br \/>\n<a title=\"Michael Penn\" href=\"https:\/\/www.aitkenlaw.com\/staff\/michael-penn\/\">Michael A.
