{"id":521,"date":"2010-06-09T10:07:28","date_gmt":"2010-06-09T17:07:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.aitkenlaw.com\/news\/?p=521"},"modified":"2010-06-09T10:07:28","modified_gmt":"2010-06-09T17:07:28","slug":"read-end-accident-multiple-shoulder-injuries","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.aitkenlaw.com\/newsite\/2010\/06\/09\/read-end-accident-multiple-shoulder-injuries\/","title":{"rendered":"$107,500: Rear End Accident Leads To Multiple Shoulder Injuries"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>CASE DESCRIPTION:<\/strong> Rear-end accident leads to multiple shoulder surgeries.<\/p>\n<p><strong> RESULT:&nbsp; $107,500.00 total settlement<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At approximately 6:30 p.m., on Wednesday, February 11, 2004, our client, Shelli M. was operating her 2004 Green Chevrolet Suburban in the number one lane on northbound Redhill Avenue, just north of Edinger.&nbsp; Shelli M.\u2019s daughter, Kaylyn, was riding in the Suburban as a passenger, seatbelted in the rear center seat.&nbsp; Shelli M. had traveled in stop-go-traffic for some twenty minutes, when she stopped at the intersection of Redhill and Edinger.&nbsp; When the light turned green, Shelli M. drove through the intersection, cautiously approached, and upon determining they were clear, crossed the railroad tracks.&nbsp; Immediately upon clearing the railroad tracks, Shelli M. slowed for traffic stopped immediately ahead of her.&nbsp; Her vehicle was struck from behind by a white 1994 Isuzu Rodeo driven by Wade W. and insured under Peggy W.&nbsp; Shelli M.\u2019s vehicle sustained less than $2,000 in property damage.<\/p>\n<p><strong>TYPE OF CASE:<\/strong> Automobile Accident<\/p>\n<p><strong>INJURIES:<\/strong>Shelli M. &#8211; Shoulder pain requiring arthroscopic anterior suture capsulorrhaphy.&nbsp; Subsequent subacromial bursitis requiring surgical intervention.<br \/>\nMark M. &#8211; Loss of Consortium.<br \/>\nKaylyn M. &#8211; Soft-tissue injuries to neck.<\/p>\n<p><strong> DATE &amp; LOCATION OF INCIDENT:<\/strong> On 2\/11\/04 at the intersection of Redhill Ave. and Edinger.<\/p>\n<p><strong> PLAINTIFFS\u2019 ATTORNEY:<\/strong><br \/>\nCasey R.
