Orange County Lavender Bar Association’s 2nd Anniversary Party

Aitken * Aitken * Cohn was a proud sponsor of the Orange County Lavender Bar Association’s 2nd Anniversary Party, held on July 18, 2012 at the beautiful Sky Garden at the Michelson building in Irvine. The event honored Munmeeth Suni of the Public Law Center with the M. Katherine B. Darmer Outstanding Community Service Award for her work on LGBT Asylum matters and the Williams Institute with the Community Leadership Award for their groundbreaking research and scholarship on LGBT issues. Freda Payne of “Band of Gold” fame performed at the event. Aitken * Aitken * Cohn partner Casey Johnson, who serves as the Secretary of the OCLBA, is pictured below with AAC staff members Jeannette Merryman, Azalia Llinas and Syndey Blaauw.
