Terry Aitken, case administrator and a pillar to the Aitken*Aitken*Cohn legacy, has just
Terry Aitken, brother of Wylie Aitken, has lived in Orange County for the majority of his life and has worked with the firm since October 13, 1983. Terry currently resides in Anaheim with his loving wife, Sherrie, has three children, Morgen, Derek, and Lindsey, and three grandchildren, Bobby, Zoie, and Emma. When Terry is not acting as our case managing guru, Terry loves tackling “do-it-yourself” projects around his home including remodeling, repairs, and carpentry.
To get Terry, soft-spoken and shy (enter facetious tone here), to talk about himself, we decided to ask him a few questions about the firm and himself:
Q: What makes Aitken*Aitken*Cohn different than other firms in your opinion?
A: “The close relationship that we build with our clients through the course of their case. They become like family. Wylie and I have been in Orange County since 1956 so we almost always find a common thread between ourselves and our clients or their families. These common threads could be school, neighborhoods, social groups, or mutual friends.”
Q: What is your favorite part about working for Aitken*Aitken*Cohn?
A: “The satisfaction you feel when you help someone and being able to create a positive change in our client’s lives from the unfortunate circumstances which brings us together. My joy is knowing that we’ve helped our clients and made a positive imprint on their lives.”
Q: What is your best/favorite memory of working at Aitken*Aitken*Cohn?
A: “There are too many to choose from. But, in general, it is always great to see how our clients have grown and to see where our associates have gone.”
Q: If you could be anyone in the world, who would it be and why?
A: “Myself. I am comfortable in that skin.”
Q: What is your ideal vacation?
A: “I really enjoy taking trips to various wine areas.”
Q: If you could gain a super power, what would it be and why?
A: “That is an obvious answer: it would be the power to eliminate diseases like cancer, AIDS, and any of the other deadly and debilitating diseases.”
