Ashleigh Aitken Tackles the Issue of Diversity in the Legal Community

“Inspiring” and “thought provoking” were just two words students used to describe Ashleigh Aitken’s comments in last month’s “Diversity in the Legal Community Panel” at Chapman University. The event, organized by a coalition of Fowler School of Law student organization leaders, hosted nearly a dozen presidents from Orange County’s affiliate bar associations to speak on the challenges that the community faces with regard to diversity. The event garnered an attendance of over 75 students, attorneys, and members of the community. Ashleigh, in particular, was thanked for her leadership in taking measures to make the legal community more inclusive.
