Opening up the seminar was AAC partner, Casey Johnson, who moderated the first presentation, “Negotiating Liens – When and How.” On Saturday, Of Counsel, AshleighAitken, discussed strategies on how to handle difficult witnesses (such as those that are combative or fail to appear) in her presentation, “Deposing the Evasive Witness.” AAC founding partner Wylie Aitken followed up by presenting his master class “Developing Challenges in Tort Law Practice in The 21st Century,” addressing the issue of financial responsibility in modern day torts practice. AAC partner Darren Aitken helped close the event by moderating the final presentation “Litigation Strategies from the Masters” on Sunday evening.
