Aitken*Aitken*Cohn was a proud sponsor and participant in the Orange County Trial Lawyers Association’s Top Gun Trial Lawyers of the Years Awards Dinner and Charity Auction on November 19, 2011, at the St. Regis Resort. Aitken*Aitken*Cohn has a long history of involvement with OCTLA – both Wylie Aitken and Richard Cohn are Past Presidents of the organization, Darren Aitken is a former member of the Board of Directors and Casey Johnson is currently on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors as the 2nd Vice President. The firm was honored to participate in this wonderful event.
In addition to honoring colleagues for their accomplishments over the past year, the evening served as an opportunity to raise money for two very worthwhile community organizations, the Down Syndrome Association of Orange County (DSAOC) and United Cerebral Palsy Orange County (UCP-OC). Aitken*Aitken*Cohn’s own Richard Cohn is currently the President of the Board of Directors of UCP-OC.
Through a silent auction, a live auction and a donation match challenge, over $87,000 was raised to benefit DSAOC and UCP-OC.Although any time of year is a good time to provide support to worthwhile organizations, the holiday season serves as an especially apt time to assist, whether financially or through volunteer work, organizations that help others. Happy Holidays!
