“From multimillion-dollar settlements to an appellate court reversal of a summary judgement, Aitken’s recent victories continue a tradition of bringing a personal approach to helping victims.” It is this personal approach, remarkable skill, and steadfast dedication that has earned Aitken Aitken Cohn Founding Partner Wylie Aitken the title of being one of the Top Plaintiff Lawyers in California for 2017.
This is the third year in a row that Wylie has been named to the exclusive list. In last year’s issue, Wylie was heralded for his superior negotiating skills, and the year before that, Wylie shared his greatest accomplishment: practicing alongside his daughter, Ashleigh, and sons, Darren and Christopher.
This year, the focus shifted to Wylie’s recent casework as well as his philanthropic work in the community. He shared the story that made national headlines where his previous client, Marty O’Connor, received a well-earned MBA from Chapman University’s Argyros School of Business, and Marty’s mother, Judy, who attended every class with him, was surprised with an honorary degree. Wylie was the one who wrote a letter of recommendation for Marty when he applied to the school.
However, Wylie was sure to explain, “I’m just a symbol of an incredible office that does a lot of exciting things.”
Aitken Aitken Cohn is honored to be led by an attorney who continues to make headlines across the nation and congratulates all the fellow colleagues who appear alongside him in this special supplement.
