Orange County Women Lawyers Association (OCWLA)

Ashleigh Aitken is the President of Orange County Women Lawyers Association (OCWLA). OCWLA was founded in 1975 as the Women and Individual Rights section of the Orange County Bar Association. The goal of the organization was to focus on the rights of all individual groups that were discriminated against in society or before the law. OCWLA became an affiliate organization of the Orange County Bar Association in 1979.

Today, OCWLA has grown to support the needs of the community at large. It now has more than 100 members, and is a sponsor of the Public Law Center, El Viento Foundation and the Collaborative Courts of the Orange County Superior Court.
