Laura’s House New Emergency Shelter Opens

The Aitkens were honored to be a Vision Sponsor for Laura’s House recent opening of their New Emergency Shelter. The new shelter increases Laura’s House’s capacity to serve victims of domestic violence and their children by 93%. Laura’s House provides unduplicated domestic violence-related services to the 915,000 residents of Orange County, California and beyond. Over the past eighteen years, Laura’s House has provided shelter and support services to more than 3,488 battered women and children and counseling, life skills education and legal assistance to over 40,305 persons.
