Jennifer Smith, Legal Assistant to Attorney Darren Aitken, has been with Aitken*Aitken*Cohn for nearly ten years. After graduating with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice, Jennifer began working with a civil defense firm. She soon after returned to school to earn her paralegal certificate and before discovering her true calling in plaintiff's law, she gained experience at both insurance defense and worker’s compensation firms. She finds her work extremely fulfilling—she loves working with the fantastic people at AAC and feels like they are genuinely helping people and families in need. Jennifer is the mother of grown sons and is starting to enjoy her "empty nest." An avid runner, she runs with friends on the weekends and participates in charity races.
