Aitken Aitken Cohn Attends the Annual CAOIE Palm Springs Seminar
May 13, 2015
What do you get when you pack more than 200 trial and consumer attorneys across the state in hotel conference rooms? Great discussions. Attorneys from across the state, including Aitken Aitken Cohn partners and attorneys, attended the annual Consumer Attorneys of the Inland Empire (CAOIE) Palm Springs Seminar. The three-day seminar took place May 1-3 at the Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort.
Opening up the seminar was AAC partner, Casey Johnson, who moderated the first presentation, “Negotiating Liens – When and How.” On Saturday, Of Counsel, AshleighAitken, discussed strategies on how to handle difficult witnesses (such as those that are combative or fail to appear) in her presentation, “Deposing the Evasive Witness.” AAC founding partner Wylie Aitken followed up by presenting his master class “Developing Challenges in Tort Law Practice in The 21st Century,” addressing the issue of financial responsibility in modern day torts practice. AAC partner Darren Aitken helped close the event by moderating the final presentation “Litigation Strategies from the Masters” on Sunday evening.
The weekend was a huge success and Aitken Aitken Cohn had a great time sharing ideas with other members of the California legal community!
