Operation Helping Hands: Help the Homeless this Season

“No matter how big your house is, how recent your car is or how big your bank account is, our graves will be the same size.”

While many of us are able to reflect on a year full of prosperity, joy, and laughter, half a million people in the United States will be looking back on a year of homelessness. Aitken Aitken Cohn is proud to support Operation Helping Hands, a nonprofit organization that aims to help homeless individuals by providing bags full of hygiene items and basic necessities to those in need.

In just two weeks, on December 5 and 6, they are holding their semi-annual “Build a Bag Event,” where backpacks will be filled with blankets, soap, underwear and more, and distributed to the homeless around Los Angeles, San Diego, Orange County, and the Inland Empire. But they need our help! With over 1000 backpacks to be filled, they will need an army of loving volunteers to get everything done. You can even make it a family experience by bringing the whole family to help!
