CASE DESCRIPTION:

After a 13-day binding arbitration on behalf of the former surfer and legendary surfing photographer Tom Cozad, AAC’s Richard Cohn obtained a $4 million binding arbitration award. The medical malpractice lawsuit against a Kaiser Permanente orthopedic surgeon was a highly complex case stemming from a botched knee surgery that resulted in neurologic injury, followed by infection. It led to open heart surgery and near death.
